A: No. Although I technically have “full parental rights” in Poland, Polish law does not allow these rights to be enforced, nor do the courts have a vehicle for enforcement.
A: It’s not easy, it is the most difficult challenge of my life. I’m fortunate to have a great family and friends who support me, and have professional help through counselling and therapy.
A: The Department of State is aware of my case and are monitoring it however, the Bureau of Consular Affairs, Office of Children’s Issues are unable to intercede directly with Poland on behalf of the girls.
